That the media are so hell-bent on turning Jacob Blake into yet one more example of โ€œan unarmed black man shot by police,โ€ a scenarioย that is exceedingly rare, before we even know whatโ€™s happening should be an immediate red flag that theyโ€™re attempting to manipulate us.

Afterย President Trumpโ€™s visit to Kenosha, Wisconsin, where Blake was shot in the back several times by police officers, all weโ€™ve heard about is that Trump didnโ€™t devote his trip to the incident, which is currently being investigated by both local and federal officials.

Theย New York Times: โ€œMr. Trump toured buildings that were damaged in street violence that followed the shooting of Mr. Blake and then met with law enforcement officials to advocate cracking down on demonstrations that get out of control. But he did not meet with Mr. Blakeโ€™s family.โ€

Okay, why is it that we should expect to say anything or visit anyone connected to Blake? The manย stands accused of violating a restraining orderย after sexually violating a woman, who says that he touched her genitals, put his fingers to his nose, and said, โ€œSmells like youโ€™ve been with other men,โ€ according to theย New York Post.

I wasnโ€™t there and donโ€™t know if it happened, but thatโ€™s why police were pursuing him, and video footage shows that he was noncompliant with the police when they attempted to arrest him. He instead ventured to his car, opened the door to do who knows what, and thatโ€™s when he was shot.

We donโ€™t know if the shooting was justified, but until we do, what purpose would it serve to have the president pretend that Blake is worthy of nothing but sympathy?

It would please the media, but what if it turns out that Blake actually was a violent criminal ready to wield a knife, as has been suggested?

Trump used his time in Kenosha to tour areas that were devastated by destructive rioting and to meet with law enforcement, which has been undermined for months by both elected Democrats and liberals in the media.

That was apparently controversial.

Mika Brzezinski on MSNBCโ€™sย Morning Joeย said Wednesday that Trump chose โ€œto promote his campaign message of law and orderโ€ over meeting with Blakeโ€™s family, as though those are two things are equivalent and deserve at least the same amount of devotion.

Associated Pressย White House reporter Jonathan Lemire said, "There seems to be little effort here [by Trump] to do any sort of healing across the divide or addressing the underlying issues that led to this violence. โ€ฆ He mentioned, as weโ€™ve said, Jacob Blakeโ€™s name not once."

Say his name! He may have sexually violated a woman before calling her a promiscuous slut, but say his name!

Weโ€™re being misled, and we know that by how the media are lying about what happened in Kenosha.
